We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in data science and a growing expertise in Generative AI (GenAI) technologies. This role will be key in bridging business needs with advanced data science and AI capabilities, helping to define use cases, translate requirements, and drive measurable outcomes for GenAI and data initiatives.

The Role

  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritise business opportunities that can be addressed through data science and GenAI solutions.
  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for data scientists, ML engineers, and GenAI developers.
  • Perform exploratory analysis, data profiling, and feasibility assessments for potential projects.
  • Shape and evaluate GenAI use cases such as copilots, summarisation tools, and personalisation engines.
  • Collaborate across IT, Product, and Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of GenAI and data-driven products into business workflows.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, KPIs, and ROI for AI and machine learning deployments.
  • Stay updated on emerging GenAI technologies and contribute to evaluating new tools and vendors.
  • Support the development of user training, documentation, and internal knowledge bases for AI and data solutions.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in data-focused environments.
  • Solid understanding of the data science lifecycle, model development processes, and/or GenAI concepts (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data outputs.
  • Experience creating business cases, user stories, and functional requirements.
  • Proficient with SQL, Excel, and BI tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) alongside collaboration platforms like Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across both technical and business teams.

Nice To Have Skills

  • Exposure to GenAI platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.).
  • Knowledge of ethical AI principles, model evaluation methods, and data governance frameworks.
  • Previous experience within consulting, product management, or innovation-focused teams.
