The Role: I am recruiting a Technical Administrator (Data Analyst and Administrator) on behalf of Altor Wealth Management, a highly regarded and ambitious Chartered Financial Planning firm, based in Hook (RG27). The Technical Administrator and will be responsible for providing the technical and general administrative support required in delivering an outstanding Financial Planning service. As the business is increasingly utilising emerging technologies to improve their client experience and to streamline and systemise support functions, the successful Technical Administrator will have an aptitude for technology and will be embracing of change, keen to incorporate process and system improvements within their role. They will also pride themselves on their attention to detail, customer service and administrative skills.

Financial services experience is not required as training will be provided, but a willingness and aptitude to learn about Financial Planning is essential. We are happy to consider both Career Administrators or candidates who are ambitious and are keen to take exams and progress within the business.

Salary and Benefits: £30,000 - £40,000 (dependant on experience) + generous benefits package including 26 days holiday + bank holidays + company pension + private medical insurance (including dental) + life insurance + financial support with exams, training and continued professional development.

In addition to hybrid working, we are also happy to consider flexible or part-time working arrangements for the right candidate.

Technical Administrator (Data Analyst and Administrator), responsibilities include:

  • Review and update client and compliance documents.

  • Maintain and match confidential personal and financial data across multiple systems.

  • Place trades, contributions, withdrawals and rebalances on investment platforms.

  • Administer the paperwork involved in investments, cash, tax and legal planning.

  • Support with the preparation of advice letters.

  • Maintain data, collate management information and produce reports as required.

  • Produce annual client review packs (PowerPoint)

  • Export data from platforms (Excel)

  • Update clients’ cashflow and risk assessments on-line (Timeline, training provided)

  • Fully utilise office technology to help streamline processes and enhance efficiencies.

  • General financial planning administration and client liaison as required.

    Technical Administrator (Data Analyst and Administrator), skills and experience required:

  • Highly organised with excellent administration and customer service skills.

  • Technically astute with great IT skills (MS 365, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams etc.) embracing of change and emerging technologies.

  • A keen eye for detail, essential when working with substantial sums of money in a highly regulated environment.

  • Caring, client focused and keen to make a difference to peoples’ lives.

  • A confident manner and excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

  • A proactive, team player who is also capable of working independently as required.

  • Aspirational, keen to learn and to contribute to the successful evolution of the business.
