This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead cutting-edge conversational AI projects, directly impacting user engagement and business efficiency.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Lead to lead our AI Bots team, specializing in Dialogflow CX (DFCX) as our primary solution for conversational AI development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced chatbot and virtual assistant solutions that enhance customer engagement and drive operational efficiency.


What you'll be getting up to: 

AI Bot Development & Optimization

  • Lead the design and development of advanced conversational agents using DFCX to deliver engaging and accurate user experiences.
  • Oversee the integration of DFCX solutions across multiple channels, ensuring a seamless and consistent user interaction.
  • Manage end-to-end bot lifecycle, including intent management, entity extraction, fulfillment integration, and dialog flow optimization.

Natural Language Processing (NLP) & Machine Learning

  •  Implement and fine-tune NLP models to improve bot understanding and response accuracy.
  • Develop and apply machine learning algorithms, such as intent recognition and entity matching, to continuously improve bot performance.
  • Experiment with new NLP and AI techniques, including advanced language models, to enhance the capabilities of DFCX-based bots.

Data Analytics & Feedback Loop

  •  Analyze user interactions and conversation data to identify improvements in bot performance and user satisfaction.
  • Set up feedback loops for continuous improvement of bots, using metrics such as response accuracy, user sentiment, and engagement rates.
  • Design and implement A/B testing strategies to evaluate bot enhancements and refine conversation flows based on user behavior.

System Integration & Support

  • Lead integration efforts of DFCX bots with backend systems, APIs, and databases, ensuring efficient data flow and real-time information delivery.
  • Coordinate with IT, customer support, and product teams to ensure bots align with business objectives and technical infrastructure.
  • Provide incident support, quickly identifying issues and implementing solutions to ensure minimal disruption to user interactions.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide a team of developers, data scientists, and designers in best practices for DFCX bot development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AI bot use cases aligned with business goals.
  • Promote a collaborative team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and ongoing skill development.

Skills and Experience:

Dialogflow CX Expertise

  • Advanced experience with DFCX, including conversation design, intent management, and multi-channel deployment.
  • Proficiency in DFCX-specific capabilities such as session management, response generation, and flow design.

Programming & Frameworks

  • Strong proficiency in Python (3.8+) and experience with relevant frameworks like Flask and FAST API.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies for chatbot UI/UX integration is a plus.

NLP & Machine Learning

  • Deep knowledge of NLP and ML, with experience implementing models for intent recognition, entity extraction, and contextual conversation.
  • Experience with frameworks like PyTorch, Hugging Face, or TensorFlow for custom NLP models.

Data Analysis & Testing

  • Skilled in using data analytics tools to monitor bot performance and conduct A/B testing.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools to generate insights on user interaction and bot efficacy.

Systems Integration & CI/CD

  • Experience with API integration, backend systems, and real-time data handling for seamless bot functionality.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins for efficient and consistent deployments.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience working in agile teams, driving collaboration and achieving milestones.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in AI and conversational bot development, including hands-on work with DFCX.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to innovation and quality improvement.
