Venator is recruiting for an Systems Integration Specialist, to join the IT SAP team. This role is based at our global headquarters at Wynyard.

Reporting to the SAP Technical Lead, the job holder will be a key member of a small technical team, supporting the day-to-day running of the SAP business systems and interfaced systems. They will also provide technical development and programming across functional areas globally for one or more SAP templates.

Job responsibilities include:

Lead third party support partner discussions in addition to maintaining a proactive relationship with Venator subject matter experts and external customers.

Understand the issues and requirements associated with their business processes, assist in evaluating viable options, make appropriate recommendations on technology solutions or configuration changes for current or new and emerging technologies.

Continually develop skills for the integration technologies in place as well as staying informed on new developments, for example SAP BTP and how it supports the incorporation of intelligent technologies such as AI, machine learning, and IoT into business operations.

Independently manage all configuration in the systems to a professional, SOX compliant standard.

Play a key role in the planning, designing, configuring, installing, training, unit testing, and commissioning of new technology solutions for which one is responsible for.

End to end ownership of (their) global developments including a gatekeeper role for developments prior to moving to production, analysis of root causes of operational malfunctions, provide resolutions, ensuring peer review and appropriate documentation in created and maintained.

Ensure that all relevant standards regarding data management, system security, data security, account management and change control are satisfied to maintain the integrity of the managed systems. Provide production support for assigned business systems including, maintaining data security and integrity, controlling user access, third and fourth level support, and coordinating with other technical resources to assist if necessary.

Candidate requirements:

Relevant University Degree in Computing

Professional certification(s) from SAP or other

5+ years working experience.

Experience working in a fast paced multiple platform environment is highly desirable
