Purchasing Data Analyst Leicester (close to M1 Leicester Forest Junction)
Some limited hybrid working available (you will be required on site min 3 days pw)
 
We are currently looking for a Purchasing Data analyst with good solid Data Analysis & Strong Excel skills
Do you have experience of researching & sourcing new suppliers within this purchasing office, Data manipulation, & confident using Excel & associated Programs
We have an opportunity with a local Aerospace & Defence Manufacturing company who are looking to source a person for a long term contract opportunity (min 12 months)
We require a Purchasing Data Analyst.
 
The responsibilities and tasks for this job include the supplier analysis for all locations throughout this international business.
You will provide analysis and input of the data, whilst verifying the results in question and sourcing new suppliers against quality standards & recommend improvements when needed.

Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:

Support Buyers, Supply Chain & Wider Purchasing function related to enable optimal and efficient operation of the Procurement function.
Performing analysis and maintenance of assigned processes that produce output excellence, builds expertise for the assign process area, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Use Excel and associated Data Analytics to identify Purchasing Trends, investigate data & present data comparisons
Performing analytical and administrative tasks in support of purchasing strategic initiatives.
Utilise data to identify process improvements, Process Anomalies, and able to understand supplier KPI’s
Strong Business relationship building skills with suppliers, stakeholders and team members
Inputting data from received RFQ’s, Supplier Information & published tenders
Supporting customers and customer proposal efforts with pricing information and supplier selection.
Experience of understanding & analysis Service requirements, Delivered Service & establishing measurement of delivered service

Mon – Thursday Days, Earlier finish Friday
