Software Development Manager required by a global FinTech software company, who build products for clients within the pension & the financial markets. The company has a suite of products which are centred around Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and used daily by millions within the banking, pensions and insurance sector.


The business is already a well established leader within their domain. However, they like to keep team sizes quite small as they want people to have a major say and influence on projects. They are going through an exciting growth period and looking to develop a new, scalable technology platform that will complement some of their established products.


Ideally, you’ll come from a C# / Microsoft background and have a passion for pushing the latest technology. As you’ll be given lots of responsibility on a new Azure based project which they would like to kick-start in the new financial year. You will be instrumental in establishing the culture and values of the new team being built.


Working to a hybrid model of 2 days a week on-site, in the Central London HQ.


Overview:

  • You’ll need to have a track-record in winning the respect of talented technical teams.
  • Ability to quickly learn and be able to think and communicate in a way that makes developers and business leaders understanding of your ideas.
  • Appreciation and understanding of software engineering principles of a project and product, enabling an efficient delivery of software.
  • Come from a background of delivering complex software products, pushing the team with best testing practices and deployment techniques.


Technical Environment: C#, SQL Server, .Net Core, Azure, DevOps, CI/CD, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, SOLID, NUnit etc..
