Whether working in our newly refurbished and extended state of the art main kitchen or spacious banqueting kitchen, youll be responsible for:Giving suggestions of improvement where you see fit, to the Executive Head Chef.Involvement in the creation of new menu ideas and concepts.The preparation, presentation and service of dishes for a variety of events or services.Supervision and coaching of the brigade and kitchen portering team.Gaining extensive knowledge of our menus and food offerings.Assisting the management team in the control of all food supplies and purchases coming in and out of the kitchen, using date labelling processes.Adhere to all food safety and health and safety guidelines.About youAs our Sous Chef, you will work alongside an award-winning Executive Head Chef and brigade and be part of a growing team who pride themselves in delivering a first-class product every time.We ask that you take pride in your work and have a willingness to learn. Youll have a real passion for food, and excellent attention to detail to provide consistent standards.You will also:Demonstrate previous experience at Sous Chef level.Demonstrate previous experience in a hotel or restaurant environment.Be self-aware and able to evaluate your own work.Well provide great training and development opportunities, allowing you to flourish in a fun and fulfilling career.
