Are you looking for your chance to work for an Enterprise globally recognised client looking to drive data strategy?


This role will be working within a global technology transformation working closely with the procurement teams within a fast paced, respectful flexible working environment delivering on a long-term Digital Transformation.


You will be involved with the deployment of Coupa will entail numerous phases over a number of years. This role is key in the initial delivery of the Coupa solution and as the solution transitions to BAU, it becomes a pivotal role in the delivery of data needs of an evolving systems landscape.


As a Solutions/Data Architect the responsibilities will very but will include some of the following;


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document data requirements and ensure requirements are appropriately designed, implemented and communicated.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data models for enterprise-level databases and systems.
  • Create data flow diagrams that clearly define the flow of data between Coupa, and other business applications will operate.
  • Act as the primary contact for data architecture and/or data mapping issues, offering technical solutions to various business challenges.
  • Provide expertise in data modelling, design, and implementation to support complex data landscapes.
  • Facilitate data migration and integration activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.
  • Lead the integration of new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to support the businesses Procurement Transformation Programme in the delivery of the Coupa solution and Migration of Data and integration of several operational systems (including Oracle, Workday, OKTA, Aravo, Ecovadis and several other home-grown systems) into Coupa.
  • Guide the organisation in adopting new data technologies and methodologies, including machine learning and AI, for enhanced data processing and analysis.
  • Collaborate with wider IT and business teams to establish data architecture standards and policies.
  • Input into user testing strategy and management of UAT process as part of the build and deployment phases of Coupa.


What experience will I need?


  • Several years of experience of data modelling, schema design, producing Data Flow diagrams, mapping, manipulation and implementation of required data flows.
  • Expert understanding of systems integration and data migration and associated tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience of working to tight schedules and delivery in complex federated organisations would be a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to design and deliver end to end solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, flexible and innovative environment.
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders in a confident and professional manner.
  • Experience of Coupa and Oracle is essential and experience of Workday, OKTA and OneTrust would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of machine learning, AI, and advanced data analytics techniques.
  • Proficient in SQL, NoSQL, and other database languages.
