What you’ll do:
The Solution Architect is a client-facing role that aligns our client’s requirements and business objectives with the optimal use of data and technology components to provide robust and extensible Martech solutions. The Solution Architect can simultaneously communicate in business terms with clients while also discussing technical requirements with software and cloud engineers. The ability to seamlessly translate business problems into technical requirements while making sound decisions on technical direction are key success criteria for the Solution Architect role.
At Indicia Worldwide, we are focused on data and marketing technology across multiple sub-domains. We work with solutions from vendors such as Adobe, Braze and Iterable while managing large customer data sets via Snowflake and Machine Learning via Sagemaker. In addition, we have our own custom-built solutions using Angular, J2EE, MongoDB and SQL Server. Almost all our solutions are cloud-based and leverage the best-in-class features of cloud computing for data integration and infrastructure management.
- Providing a gap analysis and analysing potential options for meeting client requirements including analysing custom off the shelf (COTS) solutions and custom software development
- Documenting a roadmap that achieves the desired Target Architecture that can be communicated with both business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Working with Clients to capture key business objectives, functional requirements and understand the current technology landscape.
- Develop technology solutions that meet Client Requirements that consider business requirements, non-functional requirements and constraints such as cost and timeline
- Provide technical oversight for the implementation of prescribed solutions and provide guidance and clarification to engineering teams where appropriate
- Coordinate communications for solution delivery to ensure that stakeholders and clients are on the same page including flagging potential issues to key stakeholders
- Work with Project Management to maintain a register of potential risks and issues and ensure that appropriate mitigations are in place.
- Work with engineering and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues from customers.
What you'll bring:
- Minimum 3+ year experience of performing a Solution Architect role within a fast-paced IT / Consulting or Marketing environment
- Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
- Proven experience in distributed architectures and application integration including a heterogenous mix of COTS and custom software solutions.
- Proven experience working with Cloud Based technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Proven experience working with a range of database technologies such as Snowflake, Mongodb and SQL Server.
- Experience in managing data including large-data sets, machine learning, data integration and data compliance
- Outstanding communication skills and proven experience in communicating complex IT problems to non-technical audiences
- Experience of working with Marketing Technology from vendors such as Adobe, Braze, Iterable (desirable)
- Understanding of design and architectural patterns such as Microservices, API design and database management.
- Requirements documentation including Use case and user story development is mandatory
- Expert with Agile processes, JIRA scrum boards, Confluence and Project Management tools
Role Requirements:
This role can be based on a hybrid basis from either our Madrid or Barcelona office or remote in the UK.
