This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join an historic British icon at the forefront of Engineering.

The Role

The Software Engineer will work closely with Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Data Scientists, to gather and understand the requirements necessary to ultimately design, develop and maintain a suite of data analysis tools, to facilitate the analysis of data from wind tunnel, CFD and simulation environments.

What Experience do I need?

  • A degree in Computer Science or Aeronautical, Mechanical, Software Engineering or similar
  • A background or experience in data science, aerodynamics, vehicle dynamics or computer simulations
  • Knowledge of developing graphical tools using MATLAB, Python, Julia or similar
  • Some experience of developing backend APIs, ideally with .NET Core
  • Good experience of database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL
  • Any exposure to modern web technologies such as React would be advantageous
