We are looking to recruit an SEO Marketing Executive based in Stockport or Wakefield to join our growing team on a full-time permanent basis. The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-award-winning marketing team in a well-established tech company, at an exciting and transformational time. The Candidate You'll work on exciting projects, enhance technical SEO strategies, and optimise websites to drive outstanding results. With at least 2 years of SEO experience, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact while developing your skills. You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an understanding of digital marketing trends and techniques, and you will have previously worked on SEO delivery. You will have experience working with data and reporting, be familiar with website CMS systems such as WordPress, OpenText, Drupal and Magento, as well as SEO related platforms such as MOZ, SEMrush, and Google Analytics. Knowledge and experience of Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog and PowerBI would be advantageous. As travel is sometimes required, a driving license would be beneficial but not essential. You will support the Marketing Communications Management Team, Senior SEO Executive and the other Senior/Marketing Executives in delivering the team’s marketing plans, providing ideas and input in your areas of specialism, measuring and improving activity and performance. The Team The Marketing Department is an influential dynamic and creative team of 25 people split across Product Marketing, Marketing Communications and Marketing Operations. Responsible for launching new products and services, supporting our Sales Channels, and creating customer campaigns and initiatives. The Marketing Communications Team ensure that the Sharp brand is presented correctly and deliver a wide range of strategic and tactical marketing activity, contributing to our sales results and success. Key responsibilities Understand the marketing strategy and plan, and deliver those aspects allocated to you, reporting regularly on their effectiveness. Support the development, implementation, and delivery of digital marketing strategies (SEO & Paid) to increase lead generation, conversion rates and enhance customer perception. Regularly monitor and analyse site audit data (SEMrush), indexing and crawl stats (Google Search Console), Identifying issues that may be impacting performance. Work alongside the Snr SEO Exec and Data Analyst on SEO reporting. Carry out regular backlink audits and identify new link building opportunities Carry out on-page optimisations for Sharp websites in-line with SEO strategy Utilise and maintain the marketing systems and tools as per the agreed processes Work with external agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver activities as per brief Develop relationships across the business to ensure an understanding of each area, their goals, and objectives Requirements Circa 2 years marketing experience Strong analytical skills and problem solving Has or is working towards a marketing qualification Experience of SEO and related platforms such as MOZ, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog and PowerBI Experience working with website CMS platforms such as: - WordPress, OpenText, Drupal, Magento etc. Self-motivated and eager to learn.
