We are looking for a Machine LearningEngineer to join the Predictions team. This team focuses on one ofthe cornerstone features of the Flo Health app: delivering accuratepredictions to our users about their cycles and more. We developstate of the art solutions to provide the most accurate predictionsto our users on the app. To do so, we leverage a range of differentdata points and machine learning techniques to ensure the best userexperience. This role will focus on our menstrual cycle modelling,finding patterns and regularities in symptoms, symptom predictions,utilising data from wearable devices, and more. Your Experience Must have:Solid understanding of classical ML algorithms * Demonstratedsuccess in building and deploying large-scale machine learningmodels that serve users in real-time * Ability to devise creativesolutions to intricate technical challenges, including experiencein systems design with the ability to architect and explain MLpipelines * Strong Python programming skills for efficient modeldevelopment and deployment * Experience in building and managingdata pipelines using tools like Apache Spark * Familiarity withdifferent feature engineering techniques * Excellent communicationskills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams * Commitmentto responsible AI practices, including fairness, accountability,and transparency Nice to have: * Advanced degree in ComputerScience, Mathematics, or a related field * Familiarity withstatistical and measurement fundamentals (including time seriesanalysis), and running and evaluating AB tests * Strong datavisualisation skills to help narrate stories from data * Experiencein the MedTech domain What youll be doing Youll be responsible for:Explore, develop and test complex ML systems to improve femalehealth by delivering more accurate and personalised insights to theusers * Work in a fast-paced environment, to quickly build andvalidate product hypotheses, taking end to end ownership of the MLproducts * Constantly improve our technical capabilities byresearching and implementing state of the art ML solutions thatdeliver value to users * Work in a cross-functional setup alongsideother engineering (ML, Backend, Frontend, QA), product, andanalytics teams Salary Range - per year Salary ranges may varydepending on your skills, competencies and experience.
