Thanks to our reputation in the market, our pipeline of work has continued to grow and we are interested in hearing expressions of interest from Senior Wastewater Network Modellers to join us in Glasgowor Edinburgh over the coming weeks and months.

The role will involve taking part in the planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects while ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance and best practices are upheld. You will also play a role in developing and managing more junior modellers in the team, along with supporting cost estimates and bid preparation.

You will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team made up of 175 personnel from Stantec, across 13 UK offices and a team in Pune, along with our clients and consultant/contractor partners, collaborating to deliver projects throughout the UK & Ireland. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious and innovative team of engineers, working on a specialist modelling framework whilst contributing to industry leading projects.

ABOUT YOU

You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or other relevant subject, and be a member of an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM. You will have previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment, demonstrate technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities and a full working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM.

The successful candidate will have experience in the management and development of staff as well as the ability to integrate well into a team and provide technical leadership to other modelling staff as a leader in an urban drainage environment with an excellent client service focus. Experience in data science would also be beneficial, but is not essential.
