Senior Solution Architect
Salary: 70,000 - 70,000 GBP per year

Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following essential criteria:

  1. Experience and knowledge of Architectural Governance.
  2. A proven track record of shaping and developing technology solutions that meet business and user needs.
  3. The ability to quickly understand new technologies and architecture concepts, including their strengths and weaknesses.
  4. Strong collaborative problem-solving skills, working with colleagues to identify root causes and deliver pragmatic IT solutions.
  5. Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  6. The ability to work at pace while managing architectural risks and ensuring solutions are approved through architecture governance boards.


Your responsibilities are:
In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading a team of solution architects within one or more strands of IT Change Programs, setting the direction for the team and delivering results.
  2. Being accountable for producing technical IT Solution Designs on projects that align with HMRCs IT Strategy and achieve desired business outcomes.
  3. Authoring costed design documentation and collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical architects to create cohesive solutions that meet business and user needs.
  4. Working alongside Delivery Teams and partners to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of the Solution Design.
