Senior Data Scientist/AI Engineer (Remote)

As our first product design hire at Ultralytics, you will play a critical role in understanding our vision, and simplifying this into easy to use, and institute design experiences for our users. Your thought leadership will be critical in helping craft and shape our product direction, and set us up to build a best in class design culture. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a small team of product managers, engineers, QA and engage with members of the senior leadership team to define the end-to-end design of new features and improvements across a variety of tools. Key responsibilities include: Lead the overall design and support product direction of our cloud training and deployment platform, all the way from ideation to launch. Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders. Partner with your cross-functional team and senior leadership within the company to create a compelling product vision and establish good design practices and relationships with stakeholders. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights that inform design decisions, and iterate on designs accordingly. ️ Skills and Experience Have a history (5 years) of building and shipping great work in the B2B or enterprise web application space. Have exceptional skills related to interaction design, visual design, with proven experience around leading and driving long term product vision and strategy. Ability to make calculated trade-offs and execute designs quickly without compromising quality. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to influence stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong prototyping skills and experience conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights that inform design decisions. [ bonus ] Have prior experience working in the AI and the machine learning space.
