JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:

The Process Intelligence Senior Manager of Process Modelling & Design – MGS Digital Core will play a central role in the conversion of Mars Global Services (MGS)’ future state-solution needs into actionable process models that will underpin the deployment of S/4HANA capabilities. This will be a transformation role that will be focused on initiatives related to the MGS ‘Digital Core’ program, namely process intelligence deployments for back office & corporate functions (Invoice-to-Cash, Invoice-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain Finance, Controls, HR/P&O, and other functions).

This role will be responsible for the Signavio platform rollout at MGS as well as the delivery of mining, BPM, process modelling, and workflow assets built on Signavio over the course of the Digital Core program. BPM and process modelling technology will allow MGS to convert high-level future-state designs into BPMN2.0 compliant process models, which will serve as the blueprint for initial

S/4HANA development and ongoing business process governance.

Initially, this role will be required for standing up the Signavio platform, in tandem with the “Manager of Data Engineering – MGS Digital Core”. Once the environment is ready, this role will be responsible for testing and validation of the platform as well as the production of an operating model & delivery playbook for the development (and support) of assets on the platform.

This role also demands someone with a robust analytical foundation, skilled in predictive and statistical modelling to enhance decision-making and operational agility, who will be responsible for driving significant improvements in efficiency, cost reduction, and service excellence by incorporating advanced data science techniques.

The Senior Manager should have the ability to critically assess the outputs of process modelling tools for their business relevance and effectiveness, and utilise lean Six Sigma techniques in conjunction with process modelling capabilities to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within Mars Global Services. Lastly, this role will be responsible for overseeing the development of process modelling assets as well as supplier management where applicable. For the avoidance of doubt, this role will only be focused on project delivery for MGS Digital Core program needs vs. our ongoing ‘business-as-usual’ project pipeline.

Key Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is highly desirable.

Extensive experience in process design and improvement, including strong management, with a significant focus on using tools such as Celonis and SAP Signavio.

Experience with Implementing digital solutions (analytics, automation, to help improve business operations and create efficiencies in a process

Professional experience with large companies the CPG manufacturing & supply chain space

Demonstrated proficiency in leading process modelling and improvement initiatives, with a deep understanding of related software (., Visio, ARIS, Bizagi, Celonis, SAP Signavio)

Strong analytical, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to make informed decisions based on predictive process modelling

Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing, agile teams

Excellent communication skills, adept at stakeholder management and collaborative project execution

Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or specific training in Celonis and SAP Signavio are highly beneficial

Proven success leading transformational, innovative activities in one or more of the following areas: Process Mining; Business Analytics; Automation; Supply Chain; Finance; Business enabling technology platforms

The ideal candidate possesses experience in a professional services environment and has a background that illustrates extensive capabilities from a process and analytics standpoint with exposure to companies in the space of Supply Chain, Finance, or Operations

What will be your key responsibilities?

Drive initial environment setup for Signavio with assistance from the Manager of Data Engineering – MGS Digital Core

Drive proof-of-concepts in the new Signavio environment to execute test cases identified during BTP/Signavio pre-evaluation phase

Define, test, and refine an operating model for effective use of Process Manager, Process Governance, Journey Modeller, Collaboration Hub, and other BPM-related modules of Signavio

Define and publish a BPM / process design Delivery Playbook: Lead the initiative to map, document, and refine business processes utilising advanced process modelling and workflow tools, with a focus on SAP Signavio, to drive performance and strategic alignment.

Engage with Design Phase program leads for each of the functions to ensure requirements and future state designs are gathered and embedded into the tool

Manage & oversee development initiatives utilizing process mining and process modelling capabilities on Signavio being conducted by partner/contractor teams

Engage with Build Phase program leads for each of the functions to ensure Signavio BPM/process model outputs are handed over to appropriate teams for further ERP/solution development in S/4

Technical guidance on Business Process Management (BPM), process modelling, and Signavio-specific capabilities, throughout the Digital Core program

Functional Expertise: Demonstrate deep expertise in SAP S4 and possess a comprehensive understanding of its functionalities, particularly within finance processes such as Invoice to Cash, Invoice to Pay, and Record to Report.

Manage & oversee development initiatives utilizing process modelling being conducted by partner/contractor teams

Work closely with various departments, integrating process design strategies with overarching business goals while ensuring seamless implementation of improvements.

Champion change management to foster acceptance and adoption of new process models, ensuring alignment with organisational culture and values.

Enforce adherence to regulatory compliance and quality standards within process designs, and advocate for best practice methodologies.

Offer deep expertise in process optimisation frameworks such as Six Sigma and BPM, and guide the team on their application in conjunction with tools like Celonis and SAP Signavio.

Oversee the lifecycle of process enhancements, evaluating their efficacy and making iterative improvements to support dynamic business requirements, during the course of the Digital Core transformation program.

Lead, mentor, and cultivate the development of the process design team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.

Utilise statistical analysis and predictive modelling to forecast process outcomes, optimise operational performance, and reduce risks associated with process variability.

Engage in continuous process monitoring and control, using statistical process control (SPC) techniques to maintain, and improve process stability and capability.

Develop data-driven strategies to identify root causes of inefficiencies and implement solutions that are sustainable and scalable.

Collaborate with IT and data science teams to enhance data architecture and analytics capabilities that support process modelling and continuous improvement initiatives.

Drive the design and implementation of robust process measurement systems that integrate real-time data collection and analysis to ensure ongoing process performance.

Educate and train the process design team on the latest in data analytics, predictive modelling techniques, and their application in process improvement to foster a culture of data-driven decision making.

Oversee the use of machine learning algorithms to automate and enhance process adjustments based on dynamic data inputs.

Produce regular reports for senior management that provide insights into process performance, areas for improvement, and the impact of changes implemented.
