JOB PURPOSE Working within the IT & Business Systems department for the Director, TechOps & IT, you will be responsible for all things “Data” as Senior Manager of Data Science, Analytics and Reporting. The Senior Manager should find opportunities proactively to improve AtlasEdge’s business through the application of quantitative methods and data analysis. You will gather and analyze data to help the AtlasEdge business to gain valuable insights and influence decision-making. You duties will include data mining and management, developing and implementing analytics solutions, and generating reports in an effort to improve our business performance and achieve business objectives. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Data Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for data within the business. This will be in conjunction with other IT & Business systems stakeholders. Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize data reporting requirements, translating them into actionable plans. Weekly / Monthly Reporting: work with business stakeholders to define the AtlasEdge’s business reporting requirements and implement suitable process and data analytics methods to produce said reporting. Operational Management : Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data analytics system(s), including triage of incidents and service requests and escalation to any vendors. Stakeholder Engagement : Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and fostering strong relationships. Data Integrity : Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across data in the core business system(s). Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, TechOps, data manager, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of data products. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of product features, processes, and updates. Compliance & Security: Ensure data products comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols. Data Analytics: Extract and analyse data and build statistical models that can improve the quality of decisions or the performance of existing systems. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced technical degree or equivalent experience. Significant data science and control systems experience. Experience working with large scale data center projects, control systems, or IIoT programs. Previous role in a high impact technology company. Proven track record of building teams. Excellent organizational and communication skills Familiarity with Cloud computing and Edge data centers is a plus. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Essential Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Experience of Power BI Experience of scripting languages e.g. Python, Powershell Experience working with external vendors Desirable Experience with SQL Experience of ERP, CRM, DCIM systems and data associated.
