The Role

  • Responsible for the delivery of data analysis and insights that support business goals.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all People and Workforce data reporting and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data analysis with business needs.
  • Develop and implement best practices for data analysis and visualisation.
  • Drive the automation of data processes within People and Culture to improve efficiency.
  • Manage resourcing, tools and capabilities required to ensure timely and accurate data reporting.
  • Promote a data-driven culture across Arqiva and across all People related activity, advocating for the use of data in decision-making.
  • Accountable for providing technical, data or modelling support for seasonal HR Events including pay review, bonus, OD work and any ad-hoc activities that arise
  • Accountable for the accurate and timely delivery of people related statutory reporting requirements, such as gender pay gap reporting
  • Responsible for the curation and presentation of routine management insight reporting such as monthly status reports, operational reviews, and any other repeating reporting exercises, leveraging self-service approach wherever possible and managing stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
  • Accountable for People Data security review practices including routine user access reviews to ensure only the right people have access to the right data at the right time

The Person

  • Data Analysis - Ability to manipulate and analyse data, and make informed decisions
  • Data Analysis & Visualisation Tools - Proficiency with data analysis and visualisation tools e.g. Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau
  • Data Modelling - Ability to perform statistical analysis and predictive modelling.
  • Data Governance - Knowledge of data governance and quality assurance practices.
  • Communication skills - collaborate with cross-functional teams, present technical info and provide training or support
  • Analytical and technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Project management - ability to manage one or multiple projects or project tasks and meet deadlines
  • Relationship management - ability to foster relationships (and network) with external vendors, suppliers, industry peers, etc.
  • People Analytics - Extensive knowledge of people reporting requirements.
  • HRIS and Org Modelling systems - Good understanding of people systems, technologies and people data sets
  • Substantial experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Substantial experience of HR processes, employment life cycle and annual people cycles including workforce planning methodologies.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence platforms and predictive analytics.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and presenting to senior leadership to drive business decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
