About the role:

As a Senior Data Scientist, youll have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization. Working with a diverse team, youll be responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control.


About the team:

Worldpays Enterprise Product Go-to-Market team plays a crucial role in driving the companys global growth by commercializing strategic initiatives and fueling our expansion into new countries. We work at the intersection of technical expertise and commercial acumen to enable Worldpays sales teams to effectively sell new products in new markets. This position requires a strong understanding of the payment industry and its regional nuances.


What you will be doing:

  1. Create data backed recommendations to support and build out our global product GTM strategies:
    • Utilize advanced data analytics and insights to identify existing customer management opportunities that drive growth
    • Analyze transactional and financial data to uncover trends and insights that inform targeted marketing and engagement strategies
    • Design and implement segmentation models, contact strategies, offer test and learn to increase product adoption and engagement from customers. These include cross-sales strategies, retention and dormancy re-activation
  2. Prepare reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses and evaluation of any discrepancies:
    • Research and compile data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly revenue projections across Worldpay Enterprise Product landscape
    • Perform economic research and studies in areas of rates of return, depreciations, investment opportunities and investment performance
    • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to drive strategic decisions and new business initiatives


What you will need:

  • Bachelors degree is required, Finance or Accounting as well as previous exposure to the Payments industry highly preferred
  • Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
  • Analytical and statistical examination skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met
