SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST BIRMINGHAM/SOLIHULL (3 days perweek) £80,000 COMPANY: We are working with a leadinghospitality/retail business based out of the UK. They are lookingto leverage Data Science and Machine Learning to help providebetter insights. They are currently going through a strong growthphase within the Data team and are now seeking a strong Senior DataScientist to lead their efforts across Pricing, Experimentation,and/or customer insights. ROLE: - Develop Machine Learning models,specifically around Pricing, Experimentation and Customer Insightsto support strategic decision-making processes. - Innovate andenhance existing methodologies by creating new data sources,conducting rigorous testing, and fine-tuning of Forecasting &Personalisation/Search model parameters. - Design and developautomated systems. - Build customer-facing reporting tools withintuitive interfaces, providing comprehensive insights and metricsto track forecast/Personalisation/ Search performance and elucidatevariance. - Collaborate closely with other team members outside ofthe core technical team to define project scope. - Present data ina clear and concise format, facilitating a quick understanding ofinputs and outputs of forecasting systems and contributing to thecontinual improvement of their performance.
