SR2 are currently looking for a Senior Data Scientistfor a at Series A energy start-up, focussed on making renewableenergy accessible and easy for all. Location: Central London(hybrid - 2 days onsite) Salary: £85,000 – 95,000. Role &Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Head of Data and datascience team to deliver key projects on time. - Work with thelatest ML models. - Apply your expertise in analytics, datascience, and the data storytelling to see beyond the numbers andunderstand how users interact with products and communications andhow those insights can inform communication strategy. - Buildscalable machine learning pipelines and combine feature engineeringwith optimisation methods to improve the data product performance.- Challenge existing methods to stay at the forefront of how datacan be used to innovate. - Work with the trading team to understandusage forecasting models and purchasing strategies. - Produce datascience models and insights that are directly delivered to externalcustomers. - Opportunity to progress into a leadership role as thedata science team expands. - Introduce new scientific ideas thatwill benefit the wider business. Ideal background: - 4+ years’experience in the data science field. - Proven experience withPython and/or R. - Familiar with building and optimising datapipelines and ETL processes. - Hands-on experience with cloudenvironments (AWS, GCP or Azure) for deploying data science models.- Good commercial experience with ML models. - Deep understandingof Time-Series.
