Senior Data Platform Engineer - Azure - Newcastle - Hybrid - £65k

Great opportunity for an experienced data engineer to join a rapidly expanding Data Platform team in Newcastle as a Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer. Role & Responsibilities

Mentor: Guide and support team members within a collaborative and productive work environment
Architect and Design: Develop and implement data ingestion solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
You will leverage technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake and Python
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand and address their data needs
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the Azure ecosystem, other technologies/methods, and data engineering, helping to drive continuous improvement within the teamBenefits

25 days (5 weeks) annual leave, pro-rated, increasing with service (in addition to bank holidays), plus 1 additional floating day
