Are you ready to shape data systems that power business growth and customer satisfaction? Can you guarantee data accuracy while working with massive datasets?
This multinational food business is helping a wide variety of customers by providing meals conveniently. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in handling large data sets who will guarantee data reliability and quality, which will allow for better analytics and problem resolution.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will focus on getting data from operational systems and third parties, and be responsible for making data reliable, consistent and available for analysts.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
Looking after the data infrastructure, ensuring data infrastructure is up and available
Leading internal development requirements
Doing data validation
Supporting with data model deployment (Databricks and Pyspark)
Extracting from databases and working on cross functional ETLs
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Senior Data Engineer is someone with great data understanding and experienced handling big datasets. Front-end experience, ability to simplify data sources and build right data models are also important.
Ideally, you will have great expertise working with the following tech stack:
SQL
Azure
SSIS
Databricks
Pyspark
