Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineers. In this role, you’ll work alongside machine learning engineers and data scientists to develop and implement scalable data solutions that support key business initiatives.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be central to building high-quality data products and infrastructure that drive insight and innovation. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, helping our platforms leverage data effectively and sustainably. Your work will play a critical role in advancing data capabilities across ASOS.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and developing scalable, maintainable data solutions using modern cloud-based tools and platforms.
  • Building and optimising data pipelines, systems, and processes to support development and analytics needs.
  • Supporting and enhancing production data applications and infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into robust data solutions.
  • Exploring new ways to utilise data, including prototyping, feasibility testing, and performance evaluation.
  • Promoting engineering best practices, automation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Staying informed of industry trends and helping to drive innovation through early adoption of relevant tools and practices.
  • Building strong relationships across analytics, science, and business functions.
  • Implementing data quality and observability practices to ensure reliable and accurate data delivery.

 


Qualifications

We’re looking for experienced Data Engineers with a passion for data and a track record of delivering impactful solutions in complex environments. You should be comfortable working across the full data development lifecycle and within cross-functional teams.
