Senior Data Engineer – Fully remote

We have partnered with the next tech Unicorn, a trailblazing tech company revolutionising entertainment with conversational AI and generative AI images. Within a short time, they have positioned themselves as leaders in creating connected, limitless, and immersive AI experiences. They have secured funding to scale at pace and are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the team.

The skilled Senior Data Engineer will develop a cutting-edge data warehouse and analytics function and has previously built data warehouses and data lakes in several companies. The user base is growing exceptionally, with 1 million new sign-ups each month, so this role is essential in managing the surge in data from AdTech and MarTech platforms, ensuring compliance with regulations such as LGPD/GDPR, and reducing data silos.

The Senior data engineer will be well-versed in working fully remotely with global teams that move and think quickly and work with a positive attitude, passion, vigour, and excitement. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and collaboration abilities; once on board, you will have the opportunity to work with like-minded entrepreneurs who have scaled multiple businesses and have had seven successful exits between them.

As part of the core responsibilities, you will design and maintain robust data warehouse and data lake architectures using platforms like Google BigQuery, AWS, and Azure. You will also develop and manage ETL processes to ensure data quality and consistency. You will optimise data storage and retrieval and collaborate with Business Analysts, marketing, and analytics teams to facilitate data.

You will have strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools and experience in cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure. You will have at least five years of data engineering experience, particularly in marketing and advertising data, and hands-on experience integrating data from various sources, including APIs and transactional databases.

Consortia is a specialist recruitment agency with consultants focused on global roles within UX, Product, Data, and Engineering markets. If the " Senior data engineer” role doesn't align with your preferences, but you are open to exploring other opportunities, feel free to connect with us for a discussion.
