Job Details

Develop, document and maintain robust processes that transform and clean data for input into a variety of live systems and analytical workflows including reporting dashboards

Modelling and building data products & tools that enable business teams & analytical functions to drive commercial value

Combining domain knowledge with data expertise, helping business teams answer difficult questions

Working with end users on storyboarding the data to get to the “so what”, including working with data visualization tools

Sitting at the interface of data consumers and claims analytics team; managing stakeholders, interpreting requirements & helping shape the business’ data strategy

Maintain process quality and robustness through coding best practice, including version control, documentation and peer review

Investigate and elaborate data issues to help drive continuous improvement in data quality

Migrate legacy processes to new data platforms

Skills we would love you to have

Solid understanding of database architecture and querying using SQL

Sound understanding of data transformation and cleaning

Programming experience using any language such as Python, SQL for data manipulation and modelling

Enthusiasm for accuracy with a proven track record of solving complex data problems

Exposure to reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI

Great attention to detail – systematic approach to managing your workload

Embraces opportunities to develop and learn – shows a great level of self-awareness and drive
