Data Engineering & BI Specialist

£85,000 per annum + 30% discretionary bonus

London or Bristol (hybrid – 1 x a week)

La Fosse is ecstatic to be partnering with a cloud services organisation - we are seeking a DataEngineering & BI Specialist to join a dynamic team within a global organisation. This role focuses on data engineering and BI.

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to work on high-impact projects that involve building and maintaining modern data platforms and providing insights through BI tools. With a strong focus on integrating Microsoft 365 Dynamics into the business infrastructure, this role emphasises centralising Business Intelligence (BI) while driving innovation across finance and other areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract data from Dynamics 365 CRM and load it into the centralised data warehouse (CNDW) using Snowflake.
• Own and govern the data warehouse, ensuring its integrity and performance.
• Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards, transforming raw data into actionable insights.
• Work with tools like Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and Dataverse to support data transformation and modelling.
• Provide self-service PowerBI capabilities to empower end-users.
• Collaborate on real-time streaming projects using Kafka.

What You’ll Need:

• Expertise in Snowflake, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and Dataverse.
• Advanced skills in PowerBI development, including DAX and governance.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM, particularly for data extraction and integration.
• Proven ability to map and model data for efficient reporting and analytics.
• Familiarity with SaaS-based solutions and API/integration connectivity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage data transformation workflows.
