We're seeking aSenior Data Engineerwith a strong consultancy mindset to join our growing data team. This role is not just about technical expertise-it's aboutpartnering with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored data migration solutions. You will lead the transition of legacy client data into the Intapp DealCloud platform, guiding stakeholders through the migration process with clarity and confidence.
Success in this role requires exceptionalcommunication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate technical complexities into actionable insights for non-technical audiences. You will leadclient workshops, consultations, and advisory sessions, ensuring a smooth and informed transition for our partners.
Beyond technical execution, you will be a trusted advisor to clients and a mentor to junior team members, shaping best practices and contributing to the wider success of the team.

What You Will Do
- Act as atrusted consultant, guiding clients through the data migration process and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Leadclient-facing workshops and advisory sessions, simplifying complex data challenges for stakeholders.
- Engage with clients to understand business needs and delivertailored data mapping recommendations.
- Overseedata transformation and migrationinto the Dealcloud platform , utilisingPython, SQL, and ETL pipeline processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally withproduct, implementation, and professional services teamsto drive client success.
- Define and implementbest practices for ETL processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Support junior team members through mentoring and knowledge-sharing.
What You Will Need
- A minimum of 5 years in aconsultancy or client-facing role, with a strong understanding of stakeholder engagement.
- Strong experience inETL pipeline development, data migration, or software engineering.
- Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-specialist audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and aresults-oriented approach.
- Experience leadingbusiness process reviews, data workshops, and client consultations.
- Degree inEngineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency inSQL, Python, T-SQL, and data transformation methodologies.
- Understanding ofenterprise data models, including CRM, ERP, PMS, and financial systems.
- Ability to managemultiple client projectswith competing deadlines and priorities.
Bonus Skills & Experience
- Experience working inprofessional services or financial sectors.
- Familiarity withcloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Strong grasp ofperformance optimization and scalability considerations.
