FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Data Analyst to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.


As a Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, working collaboratively to ensure the success of projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for managing system testing, analysing data, and producing insightful visualisations to support stakeholders. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and governance.


Responsibilities

Collaborate with business partners to understand key business objectives and define analytical frameworks and approaches to support them Build advanced scripts in SQL and Python by connecting to a series of databases in the lake Build advanced dashboards in PowerBI and Tableau by connecting data from D, Datalake and Excel files Iterate on existing data assets and provide quick turnarounds to ad-hoc insight requests from key FAS stakeholders Deliver and manage the lifecycle of a data project by working closely with both technical and non-technical across organizations and regions Provide solutions to automate manual data reporting across teams who may be leveraging 3rd party data in Excel and execute Documenting end-to-end data reporting processes Provide solutions to automate manual data reporting across teams who may be leveraging 3rd party data in Excel and execute
