  • Are you keen to shape the future of banking through data‑driven innovation?
  • Do you have a keen eye for detail, uncovering insights from complex data and turning them into impactful business decisions and actions?

What is the Role

AIB UK is a subsidiary of AIB Group, Ireland’s largest bank, and a leading bank in Europe. The UK business focuses on full‑service retail & business banking in Northern Ireland and corporate banking in Great Britain.

This is a great opportunity to join a Customer Experience & Insights Team, whose purpose is to support growth by improving AIB’s understanding of its customer segments to consistently deliver good outcomes, improve customer experience and brand awareness, making AIB their bank of choice.

As a Senior Data Analyst within the Customer Experience & Insights function, you will play a critical role in evidencing and improving customer outcomes. You will own the design and delivery of Consumer Duty reporting, transforming complex, multi‑source data into a clear, trusted Power BI dashboard used by senior leadership, committees and the Board. Through high‑quality insight, you will support regulatory compliance, inform decision‑making and drive meaningful improvements for customers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Own and deliver end‑to‑end Power BI dashboards for Customer Experience, Insights and Consumer Duty reporting, integrating multiple enterprise data sources into a single, authoritative view.
  • Lead Consumer Duty reporting, ensuring outcomes‑focused metrics are clearly defined, monitored and reported in line with regulatory expectations and internal governance requirements.
  • Design high‑impact, intuitive visualisations that translate complex data into clear narratives for senior leaders, committees and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with central Data and Information Management teams to source and integrate, applying strong data governance, validation and quality controls.
  • Provide clear, confident insight and commentary to senior management forums, supporting oversight, challenge and action.
  • Manage and prioritise multiple regulatory and insight initiatives, balancing delivery timelines with a strong focus on data integrity and quality.
  • Submit and manage enterprise data requests, ensuring timely access to accurate, relevant and well‑governed datasets.

What you Will Bring

  • At least 3 years’ experience in data analysis and reporting, ideally within financial services.
  • Strong hands‑on Power BI experience, including designing dashboards and integrating data from multiple sources to deliver scalable, trusted reporting.
  • Ideally, experience working with customer, conduct or regulatory data, with an understanding of how insight supports customer outcomes.
  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, outcome‑focused insights for non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong technical capability across Power BI, SQL and Excel to manipulate and analyse data.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively across business, data and technology teams.
  • The ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet regulatory deadlines, without compromising accuracy or quality.

Where to Advertise Machine Learning Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise machine learning jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards and communities that reach ML, MLOps and deep learning engineering talent. The candidate pool is small, highly specialised and in demand across AI labs, financial services, healthcare, autonomous systems and consumer technology simultaneously. Machine learning engineers and researchers move between roles through professional networks, conference communities and specialist platforms — not general job boards where ML roles compete with unrelated software engineering positions for the same audience. This guide, published by MachineLearningJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise machine learning roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
