We are seeking an experiencedSenior Data Analystwith a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience inTableauand a strong ability to interact with business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will excel at gathering and translating analytical requirements from business stakeholders, collaborating with data engineering teams, and developing a robust portfolio of dashboards to drive business insights. This role is crucial for enabling data-driven decision-making and optimizing business performance.

Responsibilities:

Dashboard Development & Maintenance

• Design, develop, and maintain a portfolio of dashboards in Tableau that provide actionable insights.
• Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, visually compelling, and aligned with business needs.
• Conduct regular updates and improvements to existing dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, gathering and documenting analytical requirements.
• Conduct client-facing meetings to understand business objectives and refine data analysis requests.
• Communicate insights effectively, tailoring explanations to the technical knowledge of stakeholders.

Collaboration with Data Engineering

• Liaise with data engineering teams to ensure the necessary data pipelines and data sources are available, optimized, and reliable.
• Provide clear specifications for data requirements to support dashboard development and reporting needs.
• Coordinate with data engineering on data quality, transformations, and best practices to maintain accurate reporting.

Data Analysis & Insights Generation

• Perform data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
• Provide ad-hoc data analysis support to answer specific business questions, using Tableau and other analytical tools as needed.
• Ensure all analytical work aligns with company KPIs and strategic goals.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

• Conduct quality assurance checks on data and dashboards to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Document analytical processes, dashboard specifications, and stakeholder requirements for future reference and auditability.
• Develop and maintain best practices for dashboard development, data visualization, and stakeholder communication.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with specific expertise inTableaufor data visualization and dashboard development.
• Proven experience in aclient-facing rolewith strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
• Advanced proficiency inTableauwith a portfolio showcasing complex, interactive dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes; experience working closely with data engineering teams is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
