Overview:
A market leading global, digital marketing and technology agency specializing in the online gaming sector is searching for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join one of their growing teams in London on a hybrid basis.
Role & Responsibilities:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business growth by analysing complex datasets, identifying emerging trends, and delivering actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design and implement advanced data visualisations, and provide data-driven recommendations to guide strategic decision-making. You will help optimise user experience, improve customer retention, and enhance overall performance across the wider team.
Data Analysis: Leverage advanced data analysis techniques to analyse large, complex datasets, identifying key patterns, trends, and correlations that drive business decisions.
Data Visualization: Design and develop sophisticated, interactive dashboards, reports, and visualisations to effectively communicate insights to key stakeholders.
Business Acumen: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, goals, and challenges, translating data into actionable insights and data-driven recommendations that support strategic initiatives.
Technical Skills: Utilise programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data, and work with data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight to create impactful reporting solutions.
Communication: Present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and actionable understanding of findings and strategic recommendations.
Technical Requirements:
Data Engineering Skill: Experience in designing and implementing data pipelines, architectures, and workflows to support large-scale data processing and analysis.
Data Modelling Skills: Proficiency in modelling structured and unstructured dataset: Kimball data modelling preferred
Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud-based data platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS) preferred.
Technical: Experience on data wrangling; experience with data warehousing and ETL processes; experience coding in Python using Jupyter Notebook;
