What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and building high-quality data solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Helping organisations create, manage, and optimize their data.
  • Developing cloud-native data products and data lake solutions.
  • Engineering cloud-based data lakes to connect and leverage internal and external data.
  • Providing technical support through prototyping, testing, and deployment.
  • Contributing to best practices and documentation for data platforms.
  • Continuously improving development standards and processes.

What You Need to Have

  • Solid experience with core Azure tech: Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Catalog, Purview.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills for data engineering.
  • Familiarity with Azure databases like Synapse EDW, SQL Managed Instance, and Azure SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and IaC tools like Bicep and Terraform.
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams and using Azure DevOps.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • C# development experience.
  • NoSQL database experience (Cosmos DB, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of AI/Machine Learning workflows at scale.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI (DAX, Power Query, etc.).
  • Understanding of Azure infrastructure (ARM, Policy, Log Analytics).
