This function will lead on the analysis that enables the business leaders to drive the Company forward towards its ambitious growth targets. This role is the key analytical and visualisation role within the Data Insights Team driving data led analysis and support to all areas of the business.

What you will be doing

Key Areas of Responsibility Work with the Data Architect and wider Business to provide analytical and data services to enhance business performance.  Drive best-in-class understanding and knowledge of data throughout the business to maximise its value Design and deliver data visualisations to communicate complex analysis to support senior staff to make decisions in a complex, fast moving market.  Apply and develop specialist knowledge of appropriate software and technologies and data analysis techniques.  Champion a data first approach across the business. Work collaboratively to achieve the team and company vision.  Maintain an up-to-date familiarisation with the company’s ETL products and the associated infrastructure

What we are looking for

Essential Technical / Role Specific4+ years experience Able to design data visualisations to communicate analysis to non-data people in a simple and effective manner. Experience of building platforms via BI tools such as Thoughtspot, Jaspersoft, Spotfire, Tableau, Cognos, Qlik, PowerBI, etc.  Experience with ETL and/or data warehousing desirable.  Ability to interpret report requests and identify where modifications to the data warehouse required. Ability to communicate the modifications required in a concise manner.

Experience with SQL Experience of using Matillion’s Data Productivity Cloud, Snowflake and Thoughtspot

£64,000 - £96,000 a yearAt Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards.
