Senior AI Research Scientist

IC Resources is seeking a Senior AI Research Scientist to join our client's team based in London, UK. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research projects, focusing on advancing theoretical foundations and algorithms for Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC). Please note a PhD and publications in top-tier AI conferences is a pre-requisite to be considered and that my client cannot sponsor a visa on this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to advanced research projects in AIGC theory and multimodal text-and-image/video generation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype innovative solutions and patent new technologies.

Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals, and engage with the academic community through talks and external collaborations.

Mentor research interns and junior researchers, fostering a culture of learning and development.

Essential Experience:

PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent research experience.

Expertise in image/video generation and large language models (LLMs), including multimodal LLMs.

Strong track record of research with publications in top-tier conferences such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, and journals like JMLR, TPAMI.

Desired Experience:

Passion for large language models and text-to-image/video models, with hands-on experience in ViTs, Diffusions, or Video VAEs.

Experience mentoring junior researchers.

Industry experience and familiarity with collaborating on product development.

Knowledge of PyTorch Profiler, DeepSpeed, HuggingFace, or related frameworks.
