As part of our growing sales team, you will be focusing, helping to develop and scale our business on the UK & Irish markets.

Your key objective will be to identify potential customers and lead the sales process in order to build a network of leads, and sign contracts in your territory.

Both independently and with the aid of local sales partners, the Sales Executive will be capable of using their previous focused SaaS experience to close business.

This will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities :

  • As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for owning your territory and the associated quota
  • Identifying new opportunities in the UK and Ireland, but also exploring every segments and lines of business of your territory (Large accounts, MGAs, Insurtechs...)
  • Pitching and negotiating with C-Level executives
  • Working on and submitting proposals, as well as negotiating contracts with clients
  • Building strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic prospects and clients
  • Thinking out of the box, suggesting new ideas and approaches to improve our product, based on client expectations

You will be based in our London office. Travelling for business development events may be required in the UK and Ireland, and in our headquarter in Paris from time to time.

Requirements

We're looking for experienced professionals who can demonstrate a proven track record in sales positions for complex SaaS products (long sales cycle), a passion for challenges, new market ventures, fast moving organizations and out of the box thinking.

In order to be considered for this position you must imperatively respond to the following criteria:

  • You have 6+ years B2B sales experience, as a Sales Executive/Account Manager or in a Consulting firm - an experience in a tech company or in the insurance space is a plus 
  • You are familiar with sales protocols and SaaS company processes, use of CRMs, slack communication, multi-teams interactions. You have good self-management skills, you are efficient and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • You have a ‘pioneer’ mindset, and like opening new markets, possessing the agility and adaptability required to open doors and interact with CTO’s / Risk Management Teams
  • You possess the level-head required to close business for both smaller (100k - 300k) and larger (1m - 1.2m) contracts, with excellent presentation and negotiation skills to navigate long term sales cycle with C-level
  • You have demonstrable experience of constructing and mastering the sales strategy for complex deep-tech SaaS products. You are able to define for all your opportunities a specific closing plan with clear proactive actions, also to forecast accurately your yearly revenue
  • You are able not only to work individually and be autonomous, but also collaboratively (in dedicated territorial sales teams)
  • You possess excellent communication skills, whether oral, written, or non-verbal, in English and you know how to make complex things feel simple
  • You are proactive, dynamic, curious, eager to learn and action-oriented. You will need to show motivations toward achieving the sales target and demonstrate a sincere interest in Akur8, both as a company and in the solutions we offer
  • In the international context of the company, any additional languages are a definite bonus
