What you’ll be working on as our Revenue Data Engineer

We’re looking for a Revenue Data Engineer to own and build a robust data foundation that empowers our revenue teams and the whole company to make informed decisions and drive scalable growth. This is your chance to shape the future of our data, tools, and processes while having a direct impact on company growth.

In your first year at Filestage:

  • You'll design and build robust data pipelinesby developing and maintaining scalable, reliable, and efficient ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources in our revenue tools. You build the foundation for our data-driven future.

  • You'll ensure data quality,  accuracy, and reliability, by implementing data quality checks, monitoring, and validation procedures. You'll be the guardian of our data integrity and proactively identify and resolve data inconsistencies, errors, and performance bottlenecks.

  • You'll own the revenue data infrastructure. You architect and maintain the data infrastructure that supports revenue reporting, analysis, and forecasting. You'll be the architect of our revenue data ecosystem.

  • You'll empower data-driven decisions. Thus you provide accessible and well-documented data to stakeholders, enabling them to perform analysis, generate reports, and make informed strategic decisions - you'll enable us to make smarter decisions, faster.

  • You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams. Working closely with sales, marketing, customer success, and our product-led growth teams to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions. You'll be the bridge between data and business impact.

What you’ll bring to the role

You have4+ years of experienceworking inrevenue data engineeringin aSaaS product environment. Now you’re looking for an exciting challenge toshape the future of data, hands-onin a growing startup. 

Here are some of the things we’d like to see from you:

  • You've thrived in a fast-paced RevOps environmentwithin SaaS B2B companies ($4-10M ARR, teams of 3+), understanding the SaaS sales lifecycle and how data fuels its success.

  • You're a HubSpot expert(4+ years)familiar with the outbound sales tech stack,  with paid marketing tool stacks, and have experience leveraging data within a Product-Led Growth (PLG) revenue environment.

  • You're a passionate data engineerand bring expertise in SQL, JS/Python, ETL, APIs, webhooks, and tools like Fivetran. Your skills extend to data modeling, implementation, warehousing, and BI.

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and you’re hungry to learn.You roll your sleeves up to get things done. You strive to continuously improve, iterate, and integrate what you learn. 

  • You’re a strong communicatorand have experience collaborating with a distributed team.
