As a Finance Business Intelligence Analyst you will be a key member of the Data team translating data into useful and meaningful information that can be utilised for decision making and strategic planning. You will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights across Loadsure’s financial and commercial functions.


As the analytical bridge between the Data, Finance, and Commercial teams, the Business Intelligence Analyst will develop and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data models to support strategic decision-making, revenue attribution, partner evaluation, and operational performance tracking.


The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and commercial acumen, with the ability to design and deliver high-impact reporting that aligns with Loadsure’s rapid scaling, product expansion, and data-driven culture.


You will be highly organised and comfortable building relationships and working with all levels of the firm. Stakeholder management and communication will be vital to the success of the role.

Key Responsibilities;

Reporting Infrastructure & Dashboarding;

  • Maintain and evolve the financial reporting framework, which links revenue, cost, and operational KPIs.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting assets across the database, CRM, BI tool and financial analytics tools.
  • Partner with the Data Engineering team to validate and enhance source data pipelines.

Finance & Commercial Collaboration;

  • Translate commercial insights and questions into BI deliverables for Finance and Frontline teams.
  • Work with the FP&A team to iterate on forecasting models and cost attribution logic.
  • Support the generation of weekly executive reporting with real-time insights.

Revenue Optimisation & Partner Analysis;

  • Develop visual tools to assess partner performance, renewal activity, and pricing opportunities.
  • Monitor commercial trends and highlight risks or efficiency gaps through performance dashboards.
  • Build and support logic to evaluate commission structures and incentive impacts.

Data Reconciliation & Accuracy;

  • Assist in ongoing reconciliation processes, flagging and resolving mismatches between financial systems.
  • Provide quality assurance support across finance and commercial data sets.

Process Documentation & Knowledge Management;

  • Document reporting structures, dashboard dependencies, and data flows to ensure operational resilience and scalability.
  • Share knowledge across teams and contribute to a culture of data-driven decision-making.


Skills and Qualifications;

Essential;

Technical and Analytical;

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery).
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reports in tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or Holistics.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, reporting logic, and metric definitions in a commercial context.


Commercial Acumen;

  • Solid understanding of financial and insurance operational metrics (e.g. GWP, quote-bind ratio, partner contribution).
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable outcomes.
  • Prior experience in SaaS, Insurtech, or a B2B platform environment is a plus.


Communication and Collaboration;

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Able to translate complex data into clear, impactful narratives and insights.
  • Experienced in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Finance, Commercial, and Product teams.


Problem Solving and Ownership;

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the accuracy and impact of deliverables.
  • Skilled at documenting workflows and building sustainable, scalable reporting systems.


Desirable;

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in statistics, applied mathematics, or related discipline
  • Experience working on data within Insurance, a B2B company and/or Commercial Team
