AudioStack has the biggest selection of text-to-speech, speech-to-speech and voice-cloning solutions in the market and is constantly expanding and improving our selection for our customers. You will own the processes for evaluating, integrating and automating these processes. You'll also take a key role in developing our product and customer analytics at AudioStack. You will be working as part of our AI/ML team working closely with our machine learning engineers, software engineers and product owners to ensure we are best in the industry.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage the complete testing lifecycle of our product, including:
    • Analysing user acceptance criteria.
    • Planning, executing, and reporting on test cases.
    • Capturing and documenting defects.
  • Develop and implement an automated testing framework to run within the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring early defect detection.
  • Collaborate with team leads, product owners, and designers to suggest improvements for product quality.
  • Mentor and train junior QA engineers as the team expands, fostering their professional development.
  • Stay up to date with best QA practices and evangelise these on the team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in manual software quality assurance.
  • 4+ years of experience in automated software quality assurance.
  • 4+ years of experience working within Agile teams.
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS as well as Python.
  • Solid knowledge of API integrations.
  • Proficiency with version control systems.
  • Deep understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
  • Experience with debugging tools (e.g., Web Inspector, Postman).
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks.

Desirable

  • Strong understanding of audio technologies.
  • Knowledge of media and broadcasting industries.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with security testing: Basic knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and experience working with security audits and penetration testing.
  • Experience with BDD/TDD: Familiarity with Behaviour Driven Development or Test Driven Development practices and tools such as Cucumber.
  • Experience with accessibility testing: Knowledge of WCAG standards and tools like Axe for testing accessibility compliance.
