Python Engineer (Prime Brokerage)

Role Responsibilities - Build connectivity to help usingest market data and trading activity from traditional anddigital exchanges - Develop data pipelines to move large volumes ofdata and allow real time analysis on it - Create systems to movelarge amounts of money between unrelated counterpartiesautomatically and securely - Construct infrastructure to securelarge amounts of cryptocurrency Qualifications - Experience withmoney-movement and accounting systems - Ability to workautonomously in a distributed team - Ability to write high qualityproduction-grade (robust and maintainable) code - Located in acontinental US time zone - Fluency with Python - Track record ofsolving messy problems in complex business domains - Expert atdriving clarity for ambiguous problems - Experience in finance andhigh-intensity hypergrowth firm - Direct and honest - Impact andexecution driven - Self-aware and low ego - Extreme ownershipmentality and grit - Good communication skills Nice to have, butnot required - Experience writing systems on, or tooling for, AWS -Experience working at an early-to-medium-stage tech startup - Kafkaand Snowflake - Experience integrating with 3rd-party APIs -Experience with standard tooling for big data (much larger than alaptop, much smaller than Google) - Experience incryptocurrency
