Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities are the fundamental building blocks that will transform the services we offer our customers. The Program Management team at Extreme leads cross-functional teams to drive portfolio definition, alignment, and execution. The role spans Extreme’s entire, expanding product portfolio, including wireless, wired, and cloud platforms. Extreme uses Cloud Management, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence to radically simplify and secure the Access Network. Our Cloud-Managed Wireless, Switching, Routing, and Security technologies provide unrivalled flexibility in deployment, management, and licensing. Working with pioneering Controller-less Wi-Fi and Cloud Management, Extreme delivers continuous innovation at Cloud-speed that constantly challenges the industry norm, allowing customers to rethink what’s possible. Our innovations and global cloud footprint radically simplify Access Network operation for 30,000+ customers and 10+ million daily users. 

Responsibilities include:

Provide Program Management leadership and support for cross-functional development teams (scope, schedule, budget) Lead team in executing the development process Works with team and leaders to identify program blockers before impacts are incurred Executes best-in-class PM practices; focused Risk Management Develop project plans, schedules, and resource strategies to drive projects to closure Drive clear, concise communication across multiple levels in the organization across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management Provide regular updates to management to ensure appropriate exposure of issues and challenges Work with management and development teams to define plan, track and communicate and escalate as appropriate Drive day-to-day program activities to meet overall project objectives Executes broad business initiatives/processes Seeks clarity from ambiguity

Required Qualifications:

4+ years product of development experience in an Engineering environment Experience with cloud and platform SW development required; Cross-platform operating system and networking experience are desired Ability to work in multifaceted teams. (Hardware, Platform, Cloud, …) Experience working with global teams with proven ability to manage communications, time alignment, and own personal time management. Great leadership skills, enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire team members Experience tracking and translating technical discussions into actionable tasks and next steps Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty Experienced in setting up program schedules and work breakdown structures Outstanding in solving/analytical abilities; good autonomy and good teamwork skills Good English writing and speaking skills Strong Interpersonal, communication and coordination skills Experience with Agile development process
