You will be focused on clearly articulating the company's product positioning and messaging to ensure customers understand the value delivered in relation to their needs. This role involves the continual testing and refinement of product marketing strategies to ensure that products remain highly relevant and consistently meet customer expectations.

What you will be doing

Clearly articulate our offer, its business value, how it answers customer pain points, and how it is unique and differentiated from competing offers through the creation of top-quality marketing content. Collaborate with peers in Product Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to help define how data transformation fits into Matillion’s overall platform vision. Execute strategies to clearly distinguish our unique product approach against new and legacy industry competitors. Be the voice of the customer (VoC) and the market. Maintain a continual connection with customers and prospects through such vehicles as interviews, focus groups, and interaction with the press/analyst community. Execute strategies and processes for communicating customer and market feedback with the Product team and other internal stakeholders. Support and coordinate the launch of new products and features and manage the cross-functional implementation of this plan. Develop sales enablement tools and collateral that support the selling process and shorten sales cycle times.  Create/maintain awareness of competing offers in our market and how we stack up. Develop content to differentiate Matillion’s products in the market, including webinars, blogs and marketing videos.

What we are looking for

Experience in product marketing, including (but not limited to) market sizing, market segmentation, customer persona definition, messaging/positioning development, competitive positioning, pricing, packaging, product launches, and market research. Output orientation with the ability to create high-quality, customer-facing content, including web content, presentation material, solution briefs, and sales enablement collateral. Proven ability to understand issues and apply frameworks to create understanding for a variety of audiences – make difficult things easy to understand. Ability to build and maintain relationships with sales, marketing and product teams. Proactive and self-motivated in driving marketing initiatives Results-driven with a focus on achieving specific marketing goals

At Matillion, we are committed to providing compensation in line with market standards based on the role, job family, job level and country. This role’s estimated annual salaried pay range for this position is £52,400 - £78,600.
