This is ahigh-impact role that will focus on harnessing existingcapabilities, developing new offerings and applying them towardsshaping and growing the business in this sector. You will beinstrumental in advising clients on the design of innovative,relevant solutions in this sector to drive the growth of thebusiness in UK&I. Our ideal individual is an energetic,technology visionary who will support GlobalLogic’s strategy ofbecoming the market leader for Engineering Impact throughintelligent products, platforms, and services in the Retail andConsumer sector. This role is based in the GlobalLogic UK&ILondon office. Responsibilities * Engage Retail and Consumerclients, prospects and partners, to bring to life our capabilities& expertise in a consultative and engaging way. * Definetechnology strategies that enables Retail and Consumer digitaltransformational programmes at the intersection of design,engineering, and data, that help clients become software-defined,intelligent, and responsible enterprises. * Oversee the developmentand implementation of customers technology strategies to enhancetheir customer experiences, optimize operations, and drive businessgrowth through digital channels. * Develop, Build and maintainsenior Client relationships by providing advisory, thoughtleadership and market expertise. Be a trusted advisor to clients. *Foster and champion partnerships with relevant Technology firms tointegrate them into our Retail and Consumer partner ecosystem. *Carry out advisory services with key customers as a deliverypractitioner alongside GlobalLogic onshore and offshored deliveryteams. * Research, identify and develop Go to Market verticalRetail and Consumer opportunities in conjunction with the Salesteam. * Provide Retail and Consumer sector thought leadership andtechnical expertise to the Sales and Delivery teams and clients,staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices. * Developand execute a Retail and Consumer Technology & Domaingo-to-market (GTM) strategy, leveraging AI and advanced analyticsto drive value creation. * Contribute to business developmentefforts, including market events, pre-sales activities, proposaldevelopment, and client presentations. * Coaching clients in theRetail and Consumer sector to build the “software muscles” theyneed to absorb current opportunities (like GenAI) as well asinnovations in the future. * Collaboration with SoftwareEngineering Teams: Partner closely with AI, Machine Learning andData Engineering delivery teams in GlobalLogic to ensure we deliverinnovative Retail and Consumer solutions using the best practicesand tools. Qualifications: * Extensive experience working withinthe Retail and Consumer sector. * In-depth knowledge of industrytrends, challenges, and emerging technologies such as: Digitaltransformation (cloud migration, AI/ML adoption, data analytics);Omni-channel, Supply chain, Merchandising etc. * Experience andknowledge of software products, technologies and architectures inthe Retail and Consumer sector from early-stage through to scalingand maturity. * Experience working with various business models andoperating structures within the sector. * Strong consulting andadvisory skills with the ability to present a technology visionconfidently in a way that informs and enables clients to makeeffective choices and decisions. * Strong technical architectureunderstanding, with the ability to visualize ‘why’ what a clientwants to build will or wont work at scale or as theirproduct/customer base expands. * Deep understanding of the salescycles and rationale for customer rationales and motives for buyingservices. * Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability topresent to an audience from C-Level to End User, clearlyarticulating the value of GlobalLogic GTMs will bring to anorganisation, gain trusted advisor respect and help influence.Proven track record of success: * Demonstrated ability to lead anddeliver large-scale technology initiatives within the Retail andConsumer sector. * Experience in developing and executingsuccessful go-to-market strategies for new products or services. *Examples of successful client engagements and partnerships. *Strong network in this sector: Extensive network of industrycontacts, including senior executives within client organizationsand technology partners. * Demonstrated ability to build andmaintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. * Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, with the ability toarticulate complex technical concepts to both technical andnon-technical audiences. * Proven ability to build consensus,influence stakeholders, and drive decision-making. * Executivepresence and the ability to represent the company at senior levelswithin client organizations and industry events. * Technical andbusiness acumen: * Strong understanding of technology trends andtheir potential impact on the Retail and Consumer sector. * Abilityto translate business challenges into technology solutions and viceversa. * Experience with various technology platforms,architectures, and delivery models relevant to the sector. *Understanding of metrics and business drivers within the industry.What We Offer Our goal is to build an inclusive positive culturewhere everyone can feel comfortable being themselves, empoweringour people to create their own high standards and therefore morevalue.
