Job Overview

Join our team as a Principal Machine Learning Scientist, with a special focus on time series analysis. This pivotal role merges cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and advanced machine learning to automate and deploy sophisticated computational models tailored for time series data across diverse industries. You'll lead the development of innovative solutions, driving our technological evolution with a focus on forecasting, predictive analytics and dynamic data modeling

Key Responsibilities

  • Specialize in Time Series Analysis: Design and implement machine learning models that excel in forecasting, anomaly detection, and pattern recognition within time series data
  • Architect Time Series Machine Learning Pipelines: Create robust pipelines specifically designed for time series data workflows, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and seamless flow from data ingestion to model deployment
  • Ensure Data Integrity for Time Series:Conduct thorough audits and cleansing of time series data, develop strategies for managing seasonality, trends, and noise to power insightful predictive models
  • Develop Scalable Time Series Algorithms: Craft algorithms and models that are accurate and adaptable for time series data, ensuring reliable predictions and insights from evolving datasets
  • From Prototype to Production: Collaborate with the engineering team to transition time series analytical prototypes into optimized, scalable, and integrated production applications
  • Drive Business Insights with Time Series Data: Leverage time series analysis to extract actionable insights, informing strategic decisions and promoting business improvements with clear communication to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced Expertise in Time Series Analysis: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) with a strong focus on time series data
  • Proven Experience:5+ years in quantitative analytics or data modeling, with a deep understanding of machine learning techniques specific to time series analysis
  • Technical Proficiency:Expertise in Python and SQL, with significant experience using time series libraries (e.g., Statsmodels, Facebook Prophet, TensorFlow Time Series) and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS S3/EC2) alongside CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership in Time Series Projects: Experience leading projects focused on time series forecasting and analysis, demonstrating the ability to mentor teams and manage cross-functional projects
  • Deep Learning for Time Series:Advanced knowledge in applying deep learning techniques (using TensorFlow, PyTorch) to time series data, enhancing predictive accuracy and model complexity
  • Ethical AI and Continuous Learning:A strong understanding of AI ethics and privacy considerations, especially in the context of time series data, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest trends and research in time series analysis and machine learning
