Principal Data Analyst

Join Digital Health and Care Wales as a Principal Data Analyst on a fixed‑term basis. This role plays a key role in maximizing the potential of data to improve patient care across Wales.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate key data flows into our warehouse environment to support critical workstreams.
  • Lead and manage data engineers, warehousing and acquisition professionals.
  • Deliver high‑quality service under pressure and meet fast‑moving deadlines.
  • Maintain constructive relationships with a wide range of individuals and organisations.
  • Provide managerial accountability for assigned staff and lead within your area.
  • Implement and improve technical initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills in data analysis and warehousing.
  • Experience leading and managing teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Welsh language skills are desirable but not mandatory.
