Job Description
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Principal Data and AI Consultant to join our growing Google Cloud Practice. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the success of our client's data and AI initiatives, leveraging the full power of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying cutting-edge data engineering, AI / ML Ops, and Generative AI solutions. The Principal Data and AI Consultant is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, data management, and AI / ML principles.
Responsibilities : Delivery (70%) :
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of data engineering solutions on GCP, including data ingestion, processing, storage, compliance, and governance.
- Design and implement AI / ML Ops pipelines, including model training, deployment, monitoring, and management.
- Build and deploy Generative AI solutions, leveraging large language models and other advanced AI technologies.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Pre-sales (20%) :
- Support the sales team in developing and delivering compelling proposals and presentations.
- Conduct technical assessments and workshops to identify client needs and opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials and marketing campaigns.
Thought Leadership & Community (10%) :
- Actively participate in the Google Cloud Community of Practice, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Contribute to industry events and publications, establishing yourself as a thought leader in the data and AI space.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience is required.
- Strong history of experience in data engineering, AI / ML, or a related field.
- A comprehensive understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies, with an emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- You will be proficient in at least two of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, or Golang. This includes experience with testing frameworks, development methodologies, deployment processes, and adherence to best practices.
- You have a strong understanding of SQL, including database design, querying, and data manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with GCP data services, such as BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
- Experience with AI / ML platforms and frameworks, such as Langchain, TensorFlow and Vertex AI.
- Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and technologies, such as large language models and transformers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly Regarded :
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification.
- Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer Certification.
- Contributions to open-source projects or communities.
