The Role

We are looking for a Price & Promotion Senior Consulting Lead to join us on a permanent basis.

In this position you will bring good Price & Promotions experience and expertise, coupled with market knowledge to the assigned region/countries/clients in order to win new business and grow client value for existing clients. Specifically, provide support for new and existing clients through delivering consulting engagements and supporting the acquisition of new clients through proposing and delivering relevant and compelling product and/or service solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Take a leading role on delivery of consulting projects for existing clients and in winning new long term deals; create and deliver quality deliverables in line with global best practice for each client.
  2. Build and maintain strong working relationships internally and with client counterparts to ensure the smooth running of every project.
  3. Take a lead on some aspects of P&P mobilisation and ensure full handover to Dunnhumby Client team.
  4. Provide key P&P input to pre-sales activities and lead generation in coordination with Sales and Client teams and support client team in gathering all relevant information to gain approval from MPRR (Media Product Resource Review) on any new client proposal.
  5. Collaborate closely with other members of the dunnhumby team to present a joined-up aligned team to the client.
  6. Support P&P training of dunnhumby sales teams through contributing to content updates.
  7. Feed client needs and market opportunities up to the consulting manager.
  8. Write compelling P&P case studies based on the value we've added for clients in the assigned region/countries/client(s).
  9. Take a lead on some aspects of creating a best-in-class P&P Solutions team globally, keeping connected with P&P Teams in other regions to help embed & maintain best practice globally.
  10. Contribute to the evolution of the Dunnhumby consulting propositions and dh thought leadership through research, keeping up-to-date with market developments and innovation, and writing blogs/articles.
  11. Maintain all required skills & complete necessary training and act in line with our values and Code of Business.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Master’s degree or equivalent in any subject.
  2. Experience in a grocery retailer and/or Consumer Goods manufacturer.
  3. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any subject.
  4. Experience in Price & Promotion approaches in retail and/or manufacturer contexts.
  5. Experience of working with retailers and manufacturers in embedding customer insight in existing Price & Promotion processes.
