Job Title: Senior Pipe Fitter Assembler
Location: Droitwich Spa (with potential travel to customer sites)
Pay: £20.75ph
Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm / Friday 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Pipe Fitter Assembler to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the assembly and installation of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications. You'll oversee both internal and subcontracted teams, ensuring high-quality, timely completion of mechanical projects while maintaining stringent health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities:
General Duties:
. Maintain exemplary housekeeping standards following 5S principles.
. Ensure health and safety compliance for oneself and others.
. Manage tools and materials, ensuring accurate tracking and allocation.
. Coordinate and allocate work to craft persons and subcontractors.
. Mentor and develop junior staff and apprentices.
. Co-lead Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
. Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality, adhering to specified materials and procedures.
. Demonstrate flexibility and cooperation in response to changing business demands.
Mechanical Duties:
. Assemble piping systems according to Work Instructions (WI1).
. Oversee the completion of multi-section plant rooms efficiently and accurately.
. Ensure timely completion of all assigned work and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
. Sign off on job cards and test certificates.
. Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing as required.
. Review and interpret project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
Role Requirements:
. Extensive experience in pipe fitting and HVAC site installation.
. CSCS Card.
. Proven ability to lead and mentor craft persons and assistants.
. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
