Want to work with an award-winning and quickly expanding company? We’re a travel site making it a doddle to book camping, glamping and caravan sites all over the world, with over 6,000 to choose from. Pitchup.com receives 33m annual visits and up to 7,500 bookings per day - so far we've booked over £400m worth of holidays, helping more than 14m holidaymakers make their great escape. Over the last year we've launched new desktop and mobile websites with an updated look and feel, led a successful campaign to change the law to open more campsites in the UK, and adapted our search to give disabled travellers the information they need. And - with a fifth of our business coming from outside the UK already - we're just getting going. You'll join a nimble team of 70 based in 10 countries: we're a 100%-remote business so we all work from home, getting together from time to time when we can. The company is profitable and was founded in 2009 by former lastminute.com staff with a background in the holiday park sector. Pitchup.com has been featured in leading global media titles, such as BBC News, New York Times, Le Figaro, and more, and has been translated into 17 languages. We’re members of the Financial Times' FT1000 fastest growing companies in Europe and recently were awarded the Platinum Trusted Service Award by Feefo, for achieving a customer rating of at least 4.5 out of 5 for five years in a row.  About the role :  You will lead performance marketing activity - currently paid search/PPC and paid social, with £2m+ annual spend - underpinning ambitious plans for domestic and international growth. As such, the role encompasses strategy as well as execution, optimising ROI/revenue growth, geographic expansion, automation (including monitoring our existing integrations), and identifying and executing growth initiatives, including experimentation. Reporting to the Managing Director and Founder, and working closely with our SEO Lead and Data Scientist, you will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. This is our first in-house performance marketing role as we transition from agency management, so you will build and lead a small team over the next six months. However, this is not a pure management role and we have a strong bias to action as a company, so you should be a "do-er" first and foremost. Devise effective performance marketing strategies, launching/optimising campaigns locally and internationally Maximise productivity through automation and feed integration Rapidly identify high-potential ideas via a ‘test and learn’ approach Build out the international plan and global expansion, targeting local search engines as appropriate Implement monitoring tools and build the process/reports for analysing PPC performance Balance revenue/lead growth with acceptable ROI levels appropriate to market entry stage and LTV Collaborate with engineering, data science, SEO and content as needed to deliver campaigns Work closely with other channels to achieve business goals, encompassing cannibalisation, keyword opportunities and ad copy Make data-driven decisions based on metrics, industry insights, market trends, and the competitive landscape Build and manage a small team Contribute to Pitchup.com's broader growth strategy and keep abreast of PPC and SEM trends About you: Proven track record of setting, delivering and running £5m+ annual spend global paid search campaigns efficiently while increasing revenue and traffic, ideally within an online travel company or complex e-commerce business Expert in all areas of paid search with at least 5 years of experience SA360 experience required Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrable passion for ecommerce marketing and knowledge of other online marketing channels and their interactions with performance marketing, including attribution Commercially focused and driven with the ability to work towards metrics and manage budgets Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ideally a background (e.g. degree) in a STEM or other numerate discipline Salary : £70,000 - £80,000 Benefits include : ( View all our benefits ) Pension match up to 4% 25 days' holiday + bank holidays Life insurance, critical illness cover, group income protection Vitality private health insurance Enhanced maternity and paternity leave Cycle to work scheme Staff discount scheme for Pitchup.com holidays Read some of our press coverage UK: https://inews.co.uk/inews-lifestyle/travel/uk-camping-campsites-august-bank-holiday-2022-availability-pitch-prices-1804816 https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/read/67423068/camping-trade-world-issue-11/43https://www.farminglife.com/country-and-farming/international-womens-day-women-playing-key-role-in-growth-of-agritourism-study-finds-4055326https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/storm-clouds-on-the-horizon-for-temporary-campsites-mg7nz5cv6IT: https://vincenzochierchia.blog.ilsole24ore.com/2022/01/18/estate-2022-pitchup-turismo-glamping-gonfie-vele/https://www.vanityfair.it/gallery/tende-da-campeggio-facili-da-montare-da-portare-in-vacanza    US: https://medium.com/authority-magazine/dan-yates-of-pitchup-the-future-of-travel-in-the-post-covid-world-949495433861 https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/tips/camp-rental-utah-california-yellowstone/  https://www.nytimes.com/2022/11/27/travel/love-or-leave-winter-on-the-cheap.html  ES: https://www.elmundo.es/viajes/hoteles/2022/06/23/62b2c84ffdddffd5758b45ef.html https://www.europapress.es/turismo/nacional/noticia-sector-camping-espana-preve-2023-cifras-record-reservas-pitchup-20230215125405.html  FR: https://www.lefigaro.fr/actualite-france/ces-commercants-contraints-aux-promos-pour-rassurer-les-vacanciers-20220808 https://www.camping-car.com/nos-actus/27057-laissez-vous-tenter-par-une-escapade-en-van  Powered by JazzHR
