Base pay range

As People Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in driving data-informed decision-making across the People directorate. From maintaining and enhancing dashboards in Power BI and Business Objects, to helping define and track key KPIs, you’ll work closely with teams to make sure our data adds real value.

You’ll be part of an organisation-wide movement toward smarter analytics—helping us improve how we recruit, develop, and retain the amazing people who make Sense what it is.

This is a permanent, full time, hybrid working role with 2/3 days in the office in Selly Oak, Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain dashboards to inform people decisions across the organisation
  • Analyse data from various sources and identify trends, insights, and KPIs
  • Support the transition to a new iTrent data mart, improving access to meaningful reports
  • Collaborate with IT to automate and streamline data processes
  • Work alongside stakeholders to promote a culture of data curiosity and confidence
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance (including GDPR)
  • Be a key player in Sense’s data analytics community, sharing best practice

About you

  • Proven experience in a similar data or analytics role
  • Experience with Power BI, including DAX and data modelling
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate insights in an accessible, actionable way
  • Knowledge of Business Objects and iTrent is desirable
